Master of Arts in Christian Studies (M.A.C.S.)
The Master of Arts in Christian Studies is a sixteen-month program of studies in theology, apologetics and church history. Acceptance into this program requires an acceptable bachelor's degree. Students desiring to complete an emphasis in biblical counseling or education may enter into a learning contract with the seminary for taking that prescribed program of study.

Master of Arts in Religion (M.A.R.)
Theological Studies
The Master of Arts in Religion is a two-year program of study emphasizing Theological Studies. Acceptance into this degree program requires an acceptable bachelor's degree.

Master of Theology in Reformed Theological Thought (Th.M.)
The Master of Theology degree can also be taken as an independent research degree in Reformed Theological Thought. This degree track is completed solely on the basis of research, reading and writing. The Master of Theology in Reformed Theological Thought is an academic degree based on a lengthy thesis for completion. There are no required courses of study. The thesis must be a minimum of 35,000 words in length and meet all the requirements listed in this catalog for the writing of a thesis.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
Christian Intellectual Thought
The Doctor of Philosophy is a three-year degree awarded in Christian Intellectual Thought. Students are required to complete a minimum of 36 credits beyond the M.A.R. or its equivalent, in the doctoral course work. The credit distribution is as follows: Sixteen credits of theology, with emphasis in philosophical and theological developments in history; Sixteen credits of study in Reformation history and theology; and four credits for research and dissertation.

Christian Intellectual History
The Doctor of Philosophy is a three-year degree awarded in Christian Intellectual History. Student are required to complete a minimum of 36 credits beyond the M.A.R. or its equivalent, in the doctoral course work. The credit distribution is as follows: Sixteen credits of historiography, with emphasis in cultural, philosophical and theological developments in history; Sixteen credits of independent study in Reformation history and theology; and four credits for research and dissertation.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
Christian Intellectual Philosophy
The Doctor of Philosophy is a three-year degree awarded in Christian Intellectual Philosophy. A student is required to complete a minimum of 36 credits doctoral course work beyond the M.A.C.S. and M.Phil in Christian Philosophy or its equivalent. The credit distribution is as follows: Sixteen credits in the history of philosophy and apologetics; Sixteen credits of study in Christian philosophy and apologetics; and four credits for research and dissertation.

Doctor of Arts in Religion (D.A.R.)
The Doctor of Arts in Religion is a three-year degree awarded in religion with an emphasis in Christian Intellectual Thought, Theology and Philosophy. The student must complete the required post-graduate core courses as listed above in one of the three Ph.D. degree programs. This degree program requires no dissertation for completion, however an oral examination covering the course work is required. Entrance into this degree program requires a Master of Arts in Religion (M.A.R.), or its academic equivalent.

Doctor of Theology in Reformed Theological Thought (Th.D.)
The Doctor of Theology in Reformed Theological Thought is an academic degree based on a lengthy dissertation for completion. There are no required courses of study. The dissertation must be a minimum of 100,000 words in length and meet all the requirements listed in this catalog for the writing of thesis and dissertations. The student will choose and submit a proposed topic to the administration for approval. The dissertation must follow the five-phase program for completing the doctorate degree. Individuals who have previously published a scholarly work, meeting all the requirements for this degree, which has never been submitted for academic credit, may request the administration to consider the publication as a substitute project for the dissertation requirement.
